With the rise of e-commerce and social media, consumers have more access to information and are increasingly aware of the ingredients used in cosmetics. Moisturisers: TONACELL® can be used in moisturisers to enhance skin hydration. They can help form a protective barrier on the skin, reduce water loss and improve the skin's natural moisture balance.

Thickeners: TONACELL® can be used as natural thickeners in cosmetics to improve their texture and stability. They improve the viscosity and gelation properties of products, resulting in a more desirable texture.

Fragrance encapsulation and diffusion: TONACELL® can be used to encapsulate fragrance compounds, preventing their degradation and evaporation. Encapsulated flavours can be released slowly over time, providing longer lasting fragrances. They can also be used to form a barrier around flavour droplets, preventing them from agglomerating and allowing them to spread more evenly.

Glitter: TONACELL® can be converted into glitter particles because of their ability to form structured colours. This makes them an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic glitter, which is a major source of microplastic pollution.
